How we work

We pride ourselves on being really flexible in how we work with our Clients.  We are transparent and flexible and our working principle is ’No Surprises’.     You know what you will be paying from the outset and any changes are always pre-agreed.    We have worked for Clients on single day assignments, to a full year. 

Deal structures

 

While we have day rates ranging from £200 per day (bespoke research and project support) to £2000 per day (specialist strategic / legal advice), we will always try to accommodate your budget.  The following are examples of how we can structure a project with you. 

 

1. Day rates - very straightforward.  You buy our expertise at the agreed day rates.  This works best if you only need short term support.   

 

2. Fixed term assignment - a fixed fee (made up of a discounted day rate) for assignments longer than a couple of weeks.  We agree a budget at the outset in order to fully support your bid / strategic project.   This works well e.g. for a 6 week tender period, or a research project. 

 

3. Retainer - a monthly fee to ‘lock in’ whatever support you need - from sourcing Tenders, to Pipeline building, to strategic advice on mergers / acquisitions.    This works well to ensure you have access to the support you need, when you need it.   Bids are unpredictable things!

 

4. Pain Share / Gain Share - where we agree to work with you at a discounted rate, in return for a ‘Win Fee’ should you be successful.     This will be agreed on a deal by deal basis. 

SMEs and Charities: We are also very happy to discount these rates if you are an SME or a registered Charity.
